Pittsburgh G-20 Summit Sept 24 - 25
Top 5 Things to do Before the Summit
Review existing contingency plans to ensure plan information is current, i.e., contact information, mission critical business functions, and disaster recovery strategies.
-
Ensure a copy of your contingency plan, contact information, insurance and mission-critical data is available offsite in the event your facility is inaccessible for a period oftime.
-
Develop a business operations plan for September 24-25; these could include business as normal, a work from home strategy, or closing the office. Communicate any changes to
normal business operations with employees, customers, and key vendors. -
Review data and physical security measures, business interruption insurance, etc., to be sure that they cover any needs you may have to protect your employees and property from vandalism -- especially if you have facilities within downtown Pittsburgh.
Follow good hiring practices (including background checks) in ensuring that you know who you are hiring, especially in days leading up to the G-20 Summit
